What is a VA?

A virtual assistant (VA) is a self-employed professional providing administrative assistance to clients including small businesses and entrepreneurs, remotely from a home office.

Clients pay for 100% productive work and because virtual assistants are independent contractors rather than employees, clients are not responsible for any employee-related taxes, insurance or benefits.

Turnaround times

We are committed to providing you with a fast, accurate service and with that in mind we aim to return your completed transcription to you within 24 hours of receiving it.  Larger projects and ongoing tasks may require more flexible turnaround times, the turnaround time can also depend on the complexity and urgency of the project or tasks at hand. If your work is urgent please let us know in advance or mark it appropriately so that we can prioritise it and do our best to turn it around quicker. 

Will you come to our office to carry out work?

We aim to work as a virtual office service however if you live in central London or the mid Devon area it may be possible for us to provide dedicated on-site support.  Mileage charges, an increased hourly rate of £30 and travelling time will however apply. 

Can you use my templates?

We are happy to comply with any document templates you provide us with.  Alternatively we can use our own, whichever makes your life easier.

Are there any Setup fees?

There are no setup fees with MPM.
We are sure you understand however that if you are a new client we will require a 50% up front payment on acceptance of the task. The remaining 50% is invoiced when all parties agree the work is completed.

Do we have a contract in place? 

We simply ask you to agree to our terms & conditions on acceptance of the task. Our pricing page explains the terms for each package.

How do we communicate and work together?

Virtual working doesn’t mean unattainable. We use the telephone and email to communicate with our clients. We are flexible and will do our best to accommodate your business and your preferred style of communication. 

Which payment methods do you accept?

We use BACS and GOCardless. Using the online form clients can authorise one-off and recurring payments quickly and securely.

Environmentally Responsible 

As a purely virtual business with everything communicated electronically we operate an almost 100% paperless office. Our carbon footprint is extremely low, which means you’re dealing with a green supplier – just another way to offset your own carbon footprint.
